Excellent news from Birmingham where a campaign, supported by SWAN, to keep open a vital respite service for disabled children in West Heath, Charles House, has been successful.
Though threatened with closure because of Birmingham City Council’s spending review, the campaign has won a reprieve for the service.
Charles House is highly valued by families of children with severe learning disabilities and autism, who welcomed the news.
